OUR EDUCATIONAL COMMITMENT
Developing ocean literacy is a key part of what we do at Seas4Life.
Pursue ocean mentorship with our Ocean Guardian Programme, designed to deliver a 360° ocean-based education for any ocean-lover. Our comprehensive programme includes dive training, marine biology research, training and experience, and underwater photography/videography. Shorter-term and more specialised courses can be combined to form a more holistic course.
THE WESTERN INDIAN OCEAN & BEYOND
The Western Indian Ocean (WIO) region comprises the Eastern African coastal states of Kenya, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa and Tanzania as well as the Island States of Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles including the overseas French territories of Mayotte and Reunion. We venturefurther including lesser-known areas in the Red and Arabian Seas, and inland Eastern and Southern Africa where our families are terrestrial and adventure experts. We have the privilege of calling this region ourhome bringing along decades of experience. Ocean exploring and African safaris are part of our DNA.

Based in Kenya and working in East and Southern Africa we have a strong presence and a passion for exploring the continent and the Island States. We are on the ground, we speak the language, and we respectfully follow the local customs. A place we call home. There is never a dull day in Africa!

WE WORK TO SUPPORT YOUR LEARNING
We are an expert-led eco-tour operator that facilitates authentic tailor-made opportunities. Using our knowledge of the WIO’s environment and our connections with local conservation research and monitoring organisations, we help students or learners find meaningful work alongside field researchers to gainexperience in marine biology and conservation. Through our Ocean Guardians programme, we enablestudents to define their own experiences to complement their academic studies. The skills they develop help to turn their passion for marine biology into a career.
